Classic set of six Louis XVI style en cabriolet chairs. They survived with their original, beautifully antiqued finish. They are upholstered in needlepoint. The term en cabriolet refers to the cyma-curve silhouette of the seat backs, which ensures optimal comfort, luxuriously conforming to the contours of one’s back. Inward curving side rails and bowed aprons add the elegant visual interest, while en carquois legs are consistent with the classicizing vocabulary of the style. The frames are gorgeous but delicate.
